The Sting (Southern Polytechnic State University student newspaper)

As a volunteer layout editor for the Sting, I was responsible for the design and format of articles submitted to the newspaper. Below is an example where a student submitted an article and I created a visual concept and executed the design for the newspaper.

I worked as Resident Assistant during my final year at Southern Polytechnic State University. My primary responsibilities included planning and implementing social and educational programs for residents, promoting academic excellence, addressing student needs and encouraging campus involvement among the 50 residents.
One of the fun things I did was create "Door Decorations" inspired by "hipster" logos. Most apartments had 4 students so I created 4 templates and customized each one for the residents.
